Describe your childhood/growing up years (8-13 years old):
I usually go on some outdoor activities with my family, walking with my grandfather on the farm, climbing fruit trees and playing with cousins and other kids. Also, planting and harvesting crops with cousins such as corns and watermelon and catching some insects and bugs.

What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
I have learned that perseverance is the key to achieve your dreams.

Most memorable moment:
Wining during the first time I joined a pageant, and I could see the joy in the eyes of my parents and how proud they were of me.

Why do you want to be Miss Philippines Earth?
I believe that this platform would help me promote the advocacy I’m fighting for and help strengthen my passion for the environment. I would like to tap communities by making them aware about the importance of soil. We always say that we should always look at the root cause of the problem. I believe that all living things are dependent on nutrition, us humans depend on food as our fuel and main source of nutrition. But over the years our productivity has been at a decline. We have been long ignorant and very focused on just the output.

I also believe that it would help us scale the program that we currently started with our locals and indigenous members of the community about the importance of soil and how it helps them farm easier and be less independent on inputs that damages the environment.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
My advocacy is to promote the importance of a healthy soil because I believe that Soil is a precious resource that is often taken for granted. It plays a vital role in sustaining life on our planet by providing the foundation for plant growth, which in turn provides us with food, clothing, and other essential resources. However, soil degradation is a growing concern, and it is important to take action to save soil.

What tip can you share to promote eco-tourism in your City or Municipality?
I would like to suggest sustainable tourism tied with Eco Tourism so we can preserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of Palawan.
