Describe your childhood/growing years (8-13 years old)
I grew up with love and happiness in my childhood, surrounded by my parents and siblings.
What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
Between those years I have grown and changed into the person I am today. My mom taught me a lot about puberty and being mature and my dad was always keeping an eye for me until now even. I learned that life was not about hearts and flowers, life is tough and it’s okay to admit that you’re having a hard time. The lesson that had always stuck on my mind is that Life goes on, whether you like it or not.
Most memorable moment
My most memorable moment was my mother’s face when I got my diploma and graduated in high school, she cried and told me I have 4 years left and I’ll be dealing with reality.
What is the most unusual thing you've ever done?
I think the most unusual thing I’ve done so far was highlighting quotations and words foreign to me and then search them later on in Google.
What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to be successful, that someday someone will recognize me, not just from beauty but for my work and what I finish.
Why do you want to be Miss Philippines Earth?
I want to be Miss Philippines Earth 2015 because I want to help people to realize that climate change and global warming is not a humored issue. If I ever win the title, I want to show everyone that I did not win because I have the physical appearances of a beauty queen but because I want them to see that I want to save Mother Earth, that I am willing to do anything in my power to save our world but doing it alone may cost a lot of time and by them engaging in my advocacy can help a lot no matter how big or small.
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
That’s how I picture the perfect place where I want to live.
My environmental advocacy is simple; the zero waste management and the anti-plastic campaign. My municipality is known to be a flooded municipality, so I believe that if I support the zero-waste and anti-plastic activities, it can encourage others and can help us to prevent or lessen a great flood that had happened in the past years.
